![]() Weapons : You only listed GUNS for H1Z1, but listed guns and melee for RI. H1Z1 has a considerably larger detail draw distance.įar Terrain rendering is also potentially futher in H1Z1, the map is too small to see how far exactly, but from one corner of the map, the other corner is drawn (if your high enough to see it) RI has a very short detail distance (its a mobile game). Its the way games are done.ĭraw Distance : Please don't talk about things you obviously don't understand. Many things are repeated right across the entire map. Expansion will take the map far past the tiny one in RI.Įnvironment : RI has many low detail assets, but they are not singularly unique as you state. with the Devs waiting to see how their players play before expansion. Map Size : Radiations map is finished, H1Z1's map is in its infancy. I like how you've glazed these "facts" to make Radiation Island seem better than H1Z1 by at times leaving out, or giving completely misleading information Radiation island has a much more polished user interface than H1Z1 has, Radiation island has a very neat journal with all your notes as well as tutorials. Radiation island supports the same dynamic map changes that H1Z1 does, you can place and rotate objects, furnaces, fires, beds, storage boxes etc. Radiation Island: Good, detailed, thick vegetation, many different buildings and tree types Radiation Island: Flintlock pistol, revolver, kar98 rifle, SMG, crossbow, slingshot, flaming torch, spiked baseball bat, electric baseball bat. H1Z1: pistol, shotgun, rifle, assault rifle ![]() Radiation Island: 10X more craftables than H1Z1. Radiation Island: Yes with underwater explorables and vegetation Radiation Island: Bear, Wolf, Rabbit, Sheep, tiger, lion, alligators, syberian tigers, radiated wolves, leopards Radiation Island: Unknown (feels just as smooth as H1Z1) Radiation Island: Unlimited (i have no idea how but mind blown yes) Radiation Island: Three different tropical islands each island having their own buildings/art/vegetation and assets H1Z1: Generic plain town with many repeat use of the same model houses, no rivers, no swamps, no lakes (more like puiddles) Radiation Island: approx 150 km/sq (three different islands each with their own assets and art) H1Z1: approx 50 km/sq (generic plain town with repeated houses/no real life accuracy) H1Z1: Unknown (according to pictures on website at least 30) Radiation is a new survival game made for the IOS and it is surprisingly deep and content-rich for its platform. The moral of this comparison is to show that a small indie developer team has been making much more progress than SOE. But i am doing this on purpose in an attempt to show people that SOE has not been delivering nearly as much as they could be. I know its silly to compare a PC game to a mobile game.
